With new additions inside and out, Talon ZX™ is in a class all its own

New exterior graphics, increased fresh water capacity, and new aluminum fender skirting are only a few of the many changes made to the Talon ZX 2006 sport utility trailer models from Jayco, Inc.

The Talon ZX line consists of fifth wheels and travel trailers that are classified as sport utility trailers or “toy haulers”; each model houses a garage in the back end with room for ATVs, motorcycles, bikes, and other types of recreational “toys”. Space in the garage area leaves room for two full-sized ATVs side by side.

The garage area contains eight flush mounted D-rings that serve as tie-down points to strap down the cargo. Each D-ring is rated at 2500 pounds to prevent cargo from shifting during travel. The garage also features an optional retractable screen and screen room, which greatly increases your indoor space and lets you enjoy the outdoors with the comfort of being indoors.

Standard equipment on the Talon ZX includes deep-lipped overhead cabinetry with cargo netting, pull-down queen bed with strut assist and ladder, R-11 insulation in the roof and R-9 in the sidewalls, Seamless Structurwood® main floor decking, and industry-leading ample fresh water capacity, with the smallest tank being 110 gallons.

Each Talon trailer or fifth wheel boasts a Customer Value Package, includes numerous customer convenience amenities, including a Dolby digital surround sound home theater system, a quick recovery gas/electric water heater, shock absorbers, and a water purification system. Available options include a fuel station with a 25-gallon gas tank, a patio screen room, and an Onan® 5500-watt Microlite™ generator with auto-changeover and 25-gallon gas tank.
