Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels Offer More High-End Features as Standard Equipment

At the National RV Show in Louisville, Ky. Nov. 28-30, 2006, Jayco®’s 2007 Eagle™ debuts with several new enhancements, including a new mirror and china door in the bedroom slideout wardrobe, optional aluminum rims and a free-standing dinette table with added storage.

With three nature-inspired color schemes and a host of high-quality standard equipment, Eagle travel trailers and fifth wheels are designed for experienced RVers. Eagle travel trailers offer five floorplans ranging in length from 28’11” to 34’11”, while Eagle fifth wheels are available in six floorplans ranging in length from 34’10” to 37’5”.

Standard equipment on the Eagle series includes a wooden message center, a new six panel bathroom passage door, an enlarged dinette window, large radius-cornered countertops in the kitchen and bathroom and new louvered central air conditioning vents for improved directional air flow. Also, many features that were only available as options last year are now standard equipment, including a holding tank sprayer and spare tire with carrier. A new style 120 volt ceiling fan now comes standard on all Eagle fifth wheels.

The Eagle is available with many options that make it even more comfortable and homey, including an extendable dinette, outside grill and Euro chairs. Eagle fifth wheels make it possible to add more residential-style options, such as a washer/dryer combination, CD stereo in the bunk, a free-standing table with four chairs and a second air conditioning unit in the bedroom. Options for the Eagle travel trailer include a 15,000-BTU central air upgrade, glass shower door and thermal pane windows.

Customer Value Package for the Eagle series includes central air conditioning, security lights, folding exterior grab handle, bathroom attic fan, Dolby® Digital 5.1 surround sound system with DVD player, water purifier, deluxe pillow-top mattress, bath skylight, 6 gallon gas/electric auto-ignition water heater, patio awning and microwave. In addition, the fifth wheel Customer Value Package includes a floor safe and extra roof insulation.
