Customer Favorite Back with New Look and More Power

A Jayco customer favorite has returned for the 2012 model year. The all-new, 2012 Jayco Seneca Class C has been re-invented, taking everything that made the Seneca a motorized legend before, and combining it with superior strength and unbridled power.

“The Seneca was one of our most popular Class C models,” said Sid Johnson, director of marketing and sales for Jayco, Inc. “We are proud to bring it back to the marketplace with a new chassis, an updated exterior look, and the high quality features and construction Jayco owners expect.”

The 2012 Seneca is in a whole new power bracket, built on a Freightliner chassis with a Cummins ISB 6.7L 340HP engine. The new Seneca boasts towing capacity of more than 8,000 pounds. Standard chassis equipment includes 6-speed automatic Allison 2500 TRV Series transmission with overdrive; 160-amp alternator; a 10,000-lb. hitch with 7-pin plug; Accuride aluminum rims; auxiliary start switch; Cummins exhaust brake; and deluxe, heated, remote-control, side-view mirrors. The unit has a high-gloss fiberglass front and rear caps with radius corners, automatic hydraulic leveling jacks, tinted safety-glass windows, one-piece fiberglass roof and extended-capacity pass-through storage compartments.

Currently offered in three 36- and 37-foot models, the Seneca features Amish-crafted Washington Glazed Maple hardwood cabinetry; high-gloss solid-surface kitchen countertops; 13,500-BTU low-profile central A/C with heat pump and Quick Cool feature; a king-sized bed and a well-appointed kitchen. An optional Customer Value Package features an attic fan bathroom power vent; exterior entertainment center (radio/DVD and 2 speakers); GPS navigation system; power leather driver and passenger seat; and touch-screen premium in-dash sound system AM/FM/CD/ DVD with back-up camera monitor.
