Jay Flight Swift and SLX Travel Trailers Add Light Weight Options to the Jay Flight Line

MIDDLEBURY, IN. – The Jay Flight has soared to the top of the market and has been North America’s best-selling travel trailer in the United States for nearly a decade. By utilizing a combination of quality construction and materials, as well as top-level features at an affordable price, the Jay Flight Swift and SLX travel trailers are following in the Jay Flight’s footsteps. Introduced in 2010, the Jay Flight Swift has undergone upgrades and enhancements that offer a large selection of standards and amenities that give this light-weight trailer all the features expected in a quality RV.

The 2013 Jay Flight Swift and Swift SLX offer a total selection of eight floorplans, coming in a range of lengths from just over 16 to 29 feet and weighing in between 2,285 and 5,315 lbs. unloaded weight. The Swift sleeps up to nine while the SLX can sleep up to five. With such a variety of options, the Jay Flight Swift and Swift SLX offer the essentials needed by family-focused RVer’s at a price that makes camping even more accessible.

Interior standard features for the Swift include Glazed Concord Cherry cabinetry, removable shelves in pantry/wardrobe, a 3-burner range with 9,000-BTU SuperBurner with range hood and exhaust fan, a 5-cu. ft. Norcold refrigerator with external temperature controls, 6-gal. gas Atwood water heater, vinyl flooring, shirt wardrobes in bedrooms, and under-bed storage on main beds. The Customer Value Package boasts a 13,500-BTU air conditioning unit, cable/satellite TV hookup, and microwave. Exterior features include radius-cornered baggage doors, dual 20-lb. propane bottles, rear stabilizer jacks with sand pads, and a patio awning with amber patio lights.

For the Swift SLX, standard features include amenities such as laminate countertops with T-mold edging, 2-burner range with range hood and exhaust fan, 5,000-BTU wall-mount air conditioner, Jayco-made dinette cushions and window treatments, pleated shades, and 300-lb. rated bunk beds. Exterior standards on the SLX boast an 8.5-ft. exterior height, Magnum Truss roof system with one-piece, patio awning with amber patio lights, radial tires, galvanized-steel, impact-resistant wheel wells, and DuraTek water-repellent, scratch-resistant, vinyl tent material with zipper windows.

The Jay Flight Swift and SLX are built with the same Amish craftsmanship and quality construction that has made Jayco travel trailers America’s most livable RVs.
