The 2007 Recon ZX Boasts a Hip New Look and Extra-Large Storage Space for Toys

With the 2007 Recon™ ZX by Jayco®, America’s Most Liveable RVs™, today’s RV adventurer doesn’t have to sacrifice comfort for function. Available in three very liveable floorplan designs, the Recon ZX fifth wheel toy hauler can store large toys -- up to a 20 foot long sand rail.

The garage features an anti-slip, non-skid Gripstar™ floor and radius-cornered ramp door with spring-hinge assist system. At almost eight feet long and with a 2500-lb. capacity, the super-wide ramp makes it easy to load and unload large toys. Ten flush-floor mounted D-rings anchored to the frame hold 2500 lbs. each, ensuring toys will remain safely in place during journeys.

Recon ZX not only provides plenty of room to store and transport toys, but also a comfortable, homey place to unwind after a long day of having fun. Full-size kitchen, living and sleeping areas with trendy interiors and residential-style bathroom make the Recon ZX the only toy hauler that combines an expanded garage with upscale décor. Optional double electric queen beds, standard in F37T, add extra sleeping area along with the dinette and hide-a-bed sofa.

This year, the Recon ZX comes standard with several items previously only available as options, including gel-coat sidewalls, generator prep with a 25-gallon tank and a long pin box. Other new enhancements include a complete redesign of interior décor, a ramp door expanded by two inches to better accommodate wider toys, added ZX embellishments on the exterior step and outside speakers, new black hardware and Jayco’s J-Stone hard surface countertops.

The Customer Value Package includes many impressive features, such as 15,000-BTU central air conditioning, Manchester Oak raised paneled doors and drawers, luggage rack, shock absorbers, 12V AM/FM/CD/DVD stereo with iPod® adapter/charger and 4 Kicker® speakers. The optional Power Package comes with a power jump pack, power pressure washer and air compressor, Kicker subwoofer and amplifier and waterproof exterior remote upgrades.

The Recon ZX is constructed using high-end materials, including Structurwood® main floor decking, TuffShell™ vacuum-bonded laminate sidewalls, seamless two-inch laminated floor construction and welded tubular-aluminum sidewall and floor framework.
