MIDDLEBURY, IN - The Jayco® 2005 Designer line of full-featured fifth wheels provides affordable luxury for today’s value-minded RVers. The 2005 line includes seven fifth wheel models.

The Designer series stresses quality, reliability and luxury appeal, which is evident in the exterior enhancements for 2005. Changes include new standard exterior graphics and a new front cap. For added convenience, the fresh water tank capacity on all models has increased to 75 gallons. Designer fifth wheel travel trailers sport an enlarged basement baggage door opening into the lower skirt for easy access to travel gear. An outside utility center in the basement area centralizes all functions for added convenience.

Designer 2005 interiors are luxurious and practical. Floor plans for 2005 feature four new interior décors: Cobalt Bay Blue, Alabaster Sand, Coral Reef Brown and Manchester Merlot. Wood choices are Fairfield Oak or Concord Cherry. The kitchen and bathroom don new hard surface countertops. A window has been added to the bathroom, while the bathroom and bedroom floors are now on the same level. A phone jack comes standard in the bedroom for more home-style convenience. The 35-foot model includes a unique step-down kitchen and dining area, which sets it off from the main living area.
Many previous options have become standard on 2005 models. These include an oak freestanding table with four chairs; a hide-a-bed sofa with footrest for additional comfort and extra room for sleeping; and rocker recliners. Day/night shades, tinted safety glass and patio awning enhance comfort and privacy. Standard utilities now include 50-amp service, a 10-gallon gas/electric auto ignition water heater and select models come equipped with hook-ups for a washer and dryer.

Many new options are available for 2005. Among these is the deluxe entertainment center (on certain models) with a 36-inch flat screen television, and a separate 13,500-Btu air conditioning system in the bedroom. Other options include a fireplace, booth dinette with two drawers, foldout bay window, fiberglass shower and two premium exterior paint packages.

The Designer Legacy Luxury upgrade package gives the RVer additional premium upgrades like enhanced exterior graphics, deluxe window treatments and wooden blinds in the coach area. The package also includes a bedroom CD player and 14-inch flat screen television. For even more luxury, a fireplace, round free-standing dinette table with skirted chairs, 10-cu. ft. refrigerator, 12-volt electric patio awning, enhanced lighting, and MOR/ryde® suspension system complete the Legacy upgrade.

The Customer Value Package features high gloss fiberglass sidewalls, upgraded lighting throughout, 15,000 Btu central air, security lights, bathroom attic fan, aluminum rims, water purifier and floor safe. The package offers a 24-inch flat screen television and Dolby® Digital 5.1 home theater system with recessed ceiling speakers that surround the RVer with premium sound.
