Jayco® Introduces Five New Eagle Floorplans

February 1, 2006

Jayco has redesigned the structural makeup and added five new floorplans to make the Eagle travel trailers series more affordable and more lightweight for the 2006 model year. The changes came after the company conducted extensive market research and product evaluation.

In announcing the product change, Jim Jacobs, Jayco's vice president of sales & marketing, said, "The Jayco Eagle fifth wheel products are already one of the best selling towable lines in the country. With these changes in the Eagle travel trailer series, we believe we will be able to provide customers with uncommon value."

The 2006 Eagle travel trailer and fifth wheel series sports a new exterior graphics package and three new interior color schemes: Moss, Amethyst and Cobalt. Other exterior enhancements include a maxi-store door and hinged bed on select models. Satellite prep is now standard equipment along with hide-a-bed sofas.

Beyond the standard equipment, the Eagle features an extensive offering of popular available options. These include a CD stereo in the bunkhouse on select models, double bunk beds in select models, an oak freestanding table and four chairs, and Euro chair swivel rockers. The Customer Value Package includes a water purification system, a Dolby digital surround sound home theater system with DVD, ducted central air-conditioning and a host of other convenience features.
